We’re working with a well-established tech company in Cambridge that’s hiring a Cloud Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll help build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for their cloud-based products, with a big focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
Great opportunity for someone with a solid cloud background who’s looking to work in a collaborative team, while still having the space to take ownership and work independently.
What you’ll be doing:- Managing and improving AWS infrastructure using Terraform and scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript)
- Supporting cloud environments across dev, test and production
- Working closely with devs, testers, and product folks to deliver new features
- Helping shape and maintain CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
- Improving logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Coaching and knowledge-sharing within the team
- Keeping security, reliability and availability top of mind
- 5+ years in a cloud-focused role
- Strong communicator, collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working across multiple environments and picking up new tech quickly
- Happy troubleshooting, and okay with occasional on-call support
- Experience with any cloud provider (AWS ideal but not required)
- AWS (S3, Lambda, Cognito, ECR, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Terraform for infra as code
