Socode are working with a technology consultancy, a short drive south of Cambridge, that builds complex electronic, RF and software systems for clients across a broad mix of industries. They re looking to add a Project Manager to their software delivery team. What makes this one interesting is how early you get involved. Rather than picking projects up once they ve been sold, you ll be alongside the sales and engineering teams while opportunities are still being shaped, then carry them through to delivery. The work is software-led, but rarely software-only as most programmes run in parallel with embedded or electronics workstreams, so you ll be coordinating across disciplines throughout. Expect regular client contact, three days a week in the office, and occasional trips to customer sites at home and abroad. What will you be doing?
