Join a specialist team designing next-generation hardware and software for secure communications and defence technologies. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise on a contract basis, helping turn pioneering concepts into real-world prototypes.
You will work across the full product life cycle, from capturing requirements and designing to developing, testing, and delivering working solutions. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and designers on fast-moving, varied projects. The work spans early-stage prototypes to fully functional systems, offering both intellectual and practical challenges.
This role is ideal for contractors who enjoy hands-on work and seeing tangible results from their efforts.
We are looking for a real generalist, who has proven experience with a number of the below:
- FPGA firmware and embedded software development, debugging and validation
- DSP, signal processing and algorithm design/modelling
- High-speed, RF and microwave electronics design (including simulation)
- Electronic hardware design, schematic capture and testing
- Programming experience across C/C++, C#, MATLAB, Python and Simulink
