System Test & Integration Engineer Cambridge: Hybrid (2 days on site) Contract: 2 Years, Inside IR35 Rate: Flexible Enjoy being the person who actually gets a complex connected product working end-to-end, not just the module you own? We're working with a fast-growing connected-device business bringing an advanced IoT hardware product to market that involves electronics, embedded firmware, RF connectivity and cloud/software all in one system. They need a System Test & Integration Engineer to build physical test setups, write test plans, and own hands-on debug of the full device, working alongside a genuinely multidisciplinary team spread across several international sites. What You'll Bring A few years' background spanning hardware, firmware and software integration Experience putting together test plans and test design documentation from scratch Confidence debugging complex embedded systems under pressure Solid grounding in protocol testing, both wired and over RF An understanding of how IoT systems fit together, RF communication included Comfortable working with standard lab test equipment A genuinely hands-on style (you'll be happiest setting up rigs and chasing down failures yourself)Also Valued Any background in GPS-based system testing Familiarity with RF technologies such as BLE, WiFi, LTE-M or LoRa Exposure to cloud infrastructure supporting IoT products Comfortable in Atlassian tools and/or Azure DevOps Some Python coding abilityIf you like owning a product's integration and debug story from the bench up, right as it heads into production, I'd love to hear from you.
