Are you a hands-on electronics technician who enjoys building, testing, and refining real hardware? Do you take pride in high-quality assembly and working closely with engineers to bring complex designs to life?
We’re working with an established engineering business developing advanced electronic and RF-based technologies. This role sits within a product development environment, supporting the build and validation of cutting-edge prototypes.
You’ll be at the centre of the action in the lab, assembling, modifying, and fault-finding on complex electronic systems.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and assemble electronic prototypes
- Solder small surface mount components and carry out PCB rework
- Work from schematics and drawings to build systems
- Support prototyping, testing, and fault finding
- Keep build records up to date
- Help maintain a busy R&D lab
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in an electronics lab or assembly environment
- Good soldering and rework skills
- Able to work from schematics with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working with engineers on projects
- Keen to learn and get stuck in
