Key responsibilities

  • TikTok Shop Global Expansion
    • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for TikTok Shop across all active and planned global markets (US, UK, EU, SEA, and beyond).
    • Partner with regional commercial leads and TikTok’s partner teams to identify market-specific requirements, compliance needs, and go-to-market timing.
    • Drive onboarding, configuration, and ongoing optimization of TikTok Shop storefronts including product catalog management, promotions, and fulfillment flows.
    • Define and track KPIs for TikTok Shop performance and feed insights back into product and technology decisions.
  • Regional Marketplace Strategy & Expansion
    • Identify and prioritize additional regional marketplace opportunities (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Tmall, Allegro, MercadoLibre) based on market size, feasibility, and strategic fit.
    • Lead scoping, technical discovery, and implementation planning for each new marketplace integration in partnership with IT engineering and third-party middleware providers.
    • Maintain a unified view of marketplace integrations across regions, ensuring consistent data standards, inventory accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Product Management & Roadmap Ownership
    • Define and maintain the DTC marketplace product roadmap, balancing global scalability with regional flexibility.
    • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT development teams.
    • Lead sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning in collaboration with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party platform vendors, integration partners, and technology solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Act as the primary point of contact between IT and commercial/marketing teams for all marketplace and TikTok Shop initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to ensure marketplace operations meet compliance, tax, and logistics requirements across regions.
    • Present roadmap updates, business cases, and post-launch performance reviews to senior leadership including the Global VP of DTC Product.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, IT program management, or e-commerce technology, with at least 3 years in a DTC or marketplace-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop (seller central, live commerce, Aftership, or affiliate program) in at least one market.
  • Demonstrated track record managing multi-region e-commerce or marketplace rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace integration architecture including catalog feeds, order management, inventory sync, and payment flows.
  • Experience writing product requirements and managing agile development cycles.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical complexity for business audiences and commercial goals for technical teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with middleware/integration platforms such as Aftership, ChannelAdvisor, Pipe17, Linnworks, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, OIC or comparable ERP/OMS platforms.
  • Exposure to additional social commerce platforms (Instagram Shopping, YouTube Shopping, Pinterest).
  • Knowledge of regional marketplace ecosystems in Southeast Asia, Europe, or Latin America.
  • Background in consumer electronics or hard goods categories a plus.
