Marksman Security LLC is hiring immediately for FLEX Security Officer at $17.50 per hour. This is a part-time position located at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc., 1 Lone Star Pass, San Antonio, TX 78264.

Schedule & Availability:

  • FLEX Hours — Must be fully flexible and able to work any hours — no exceptions.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required.
  • Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Sign-On Bonus: $50 Sign-On Bonus for associates who join with an active Guard Card on file, paid out upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Rover — Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
  • Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors.
  • Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements.

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
  • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
  • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
  • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behaviour to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and/or other criminal behaviour.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
  • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
  • Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking, and/or in possession of prohibited items.
  • Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
  • Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
  • Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
  • Other duties to be determined by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensing.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritise assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
  • Minimum of one year of security experience.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
  • This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
