This individual is responsible for creating and executing local regional IT solutions leveraging data, insights and IT and digital tools to unlock growth, enable synergies and create better outcomes for our customers and employees.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create or leverage contemporary technology solutions that enable business and enterprise outcomes.
  • Leadership, coaching, coordination and execution of regional IT projects in alignment with global IT strategy.
  • Facilitate, mentor, project manage, and partner with IT and business process owners during and after implementation of new solutions to ensure high quality implementations and ongoing support and maintenance for the business.
  • Develop and lead IT vision and execution for the region to create better outcomes for our customers and employees.
  • Partner and lead a culture of simplification, leveraging IT solutions as appropriate, driving business value realization and solution entitlement.
  • Lead and partner with business process owners and stakeholders to improve or create KPI dashboards, leverage synergies, data, insights and digital tools to unlock growth, improve or create customer communications tools, document management, etc.
  • Find and interpret data sources and work with central execution teams to manage large amounts of data, merge data sources together, ensure consistency of data-sets, create visualizations to aid in understanding data, and communicate insights/findings in a simplified way.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications to define product criteria and exhibit a deep understanding of domain, industry trends and potential impact.
  • Ensure the successful, end-to-end delivery of a product, program or project through upfront client engagement.
  • Contribute to a variety of functions in the program management domain including delivery of multiple products, product areas, or platforms, management of issues, roadblocks, dependencies, overlaps, over-scopes, and communication management.
  • Partner with IT & functional shared and matrixed global teams to enable and execute vision, drive and manage shared teams to deliver, manage financials.
  • Participate, influence and assist in adopting, creating and driving global applicability of regional solutions and best practices.
  • Work as a business partner and business analyst with Business Process Leaders, IT Solution leaders to evaluate and improve business processes.
  • Create innovative solutions and foundational capabilities, aligned with pillar platform and enterprise strategy.
  • Be evangelist and execution leader for Digital Business and Digital Workplace.
  • Engage in GE digital projects in region for customers as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering quality IT projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a project dashboard across all IT projects in the region and provide weekly status updates on cost, schedule, resources, benefits.
  • Identify, pilot, and deploy emerging technologies across various technical domains in partnership with matrixed teams or as individual contributor.
  • Provide technical and project leadership.
  • Build and grow expertise in contemporary tools (Tableau, etc.).
  • Adhere to IT project management and solution standards and tollgate requirements, with an Agile & FastWorks method.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure ongoing delivery & operational support of high quality, cost effective solutions.
  • Lead and manage onshore/offshore information technology vendors and/or teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Visualization or IT.

Eligibility Requirement:

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior experience with relational databases, data architectures, and visualization tools.
  • Previous experience with MES data and shop floor operations.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change.
