You will step into a pivotal position as the key finance partner to the UK go-to-market (GTM) organisation, working closely with UK and global leaders to guide commercial decision-making. By bringing financial rigour and commercial judgement to choices surrounding growth, investment, and execution, you will lead planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and scenario modelling across the region. This is an opportunity to operate close to revenue teams, navigate ambiguity, and directly turn deep analysis into strategic action.
Your impact will be felt through the clarity you bring to performance and the robust frameworks you build to evaluate trade-offs with confidence. You will help the UK leadership team make better, faster, and more commercially grounded decisions by challenging assumptions and surfacing risks early. Over time, you will become a trusted finance partner and a vital contributor to how resources are prioritised to deliver maximum value.
You will join the Strategic Finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance for the UK and International Markets. The team acts as a collaborative bridge between regional GTM execution and global finance, working collectively to translate commercial priorities into clear financial plans. Together, you will build strong relationships across the wider business to ensure investment remains closely aligned with global strategic goals.
Initially, you will focus on:
- Leading the UK planning cycle, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and longer‑range planning.
- Strengthening performance reporting and models through the use of data, automation, and AI‑enabled tools.
- Evaluating commercial opportunities and GTM initiatives with rigorous analysis and practical recommendations.
- Analysing business performance across revenue, cost, productivity, and profitability to identify the drivers behind results.
This role is based in our London office with a hybrid working model, blending collaborative in‑office days with the flexibility of remote working. Xero is a Great Place to Work UK accredited.
Here are some of the things we are looking for:
- You bring a track record in strategic, commercial, or GTM finance, FP&A, strategy consulting, or investment banking within a complex business environment.
- You have experience partnering with senior GTM or regional leaders, influencing key decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight.
- Your background includes strong financial modelling skills, encompassing scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and business cases.
- You possess digital and AI fluency, feeling comfortable utilising modern data and automation tools to scale financial reporting.
- You offer strong commercial judgement along with the confidence to constructively challenge assumptions.
- You possess clear communication skills, enabling you to explain complex financial topics simply to operational, technical, and executive audiences.
