Build the AI platform powering industrial intelligence at global scale. We’re looking for a VP / Head of Engineering to build and lead Core AI Services for a world-class industrial intelligence platform. This is a hands‑on execution leadership role at the heart of our AI strategy — responsible for creating the foundational AI services, APIs, and orchestration layer that product teams and partners rely on to deliver AI at scale. This role will suit someone who has previously worked for an enterprise business and built AI platforms in a start‑up environment.
The opportunity
You’ll lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud‑native AI services that democratise access to AI across a global product portfolio. This role blends startup‑style building with the complexity and impact of operating at enterprise scale.
What you’ll do
- Architect, build, and scale core AI platform services (orchestration, SDKs, APIs)
- Enable self‑service AI capabilities for internal teams and external partners
- Drive adoption of AI services across products and domains
- Embed security, privacy, and responsible AI‑by‑design
- Lead and grow a high‑performing, distributed engineering team
- Foster a builder mindset with rapid execution and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
- Senior engineering leader (VP / Head of Engineering / CTO) with deep platform experience
- Proven background building AI or cloud‑native platforms, ideally in startup or scale‑up environments
- Strong understanding of AI/ML systems, data pipelines, inference, and orchestration
- Experience designing public APIs and developer platforms
- Familiarity with modern AI standards, governance, and regulations (e.g. EU AI Act, NIST)
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of engineering, product, and strategy
- Build core AI services that power real‑world industrial outcomes
- Operate at global scale while keeping a startup execution mindset
- Influence how AI is delivered responsibly across industries
- Work with talented teams across multiple international R&D hubs
If you’ve built AI platforms, love solving hard infrastructure problems, and want to shape how AI is delivered at scale — we’d love to hear from you.
