Their Autoscoring platform uses cameras to detect play in real time, powering online competition, live stats, and training tools for a growing global community of players.
They're looking for a
Backend Software Engineer to help them scale the Go microservices platform behind it all.
- What you'll be doing
- Designing and building Go microservices running on Kubernetes
- Building well-designed, scalable REST APIs
- Creating and evolving database schemas
- Writing automated tests and owning services through their production lifecycle
- Working closely with our frontend, mobile, product, and hardware teams to ship features end to end
- Sharing knowledge through code reviews and pair programming
What we're looking for
- 5+ years commercial programming experience (Ideally with 2+ years with Go but open to similar programming experience)
- Solid grounding in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD
- Comfortable with REST API design, SQL, and microservices architecture
- Experience with test automation, unit and end-to-end testing
- Cloud experience (any major provider), Git, and Agile ways of working
- A collaborative mindset β happy to pair program and work cross-functionally
- Nice to have
- Sports or gaming industry experience
- Hetzner cloud knowledge
- Machine learning exposure
