My client in Manchester is looking for a Full Stack Engineer. A flexible hybrid role with the expectation of 1 day per week based in our Support Centre in Greater Manchester as well as ad-hoc for training and on-site meetings.
Supporting the business with a new system transformation project.
Your future, your role:
- Collaborating with the existing development team to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of web-based applications and internal systems.
- Utilising C# and Entity Framework to develop robust and scalable backend components for the website and internal applications.
- Working on integrating and customizing a Content Management System (CMS) to manage website content efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different modules and external systems.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure effective integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participating in team discussions to identify and address technical challenges.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner.
You will have:
- Ideally a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on web application development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and experience with Entity Framework for database interaction.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and the ability to customize and integrate them into web applications.
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control.
