We are looking for an Assistant Trade Planner to support the delivery of promotional and trading plans across stores and digital channels.
This is a great opportunity for a numerate graduate or early-career professional with around two years experience in retail, FMCG, commercial analysis, merchandising, marketing or another data-focused role.
The role You will use sales data, promotional performance and competitor insight to help shape trading activity and ensure plans are delivered accurately and on time.
Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing and Operations, you will: Analyse sales, promotional and trading performance.
Maintain promotional calendars and critical paths.
Produce reports and highlight risks and opportunities.
Monitor competitor pricing and activity.
Coordinate actions across commercial teams.
Help improve planning tools and ways of working.
About you You will be confident with numbers, highly organised and commercially curious.
You will ideally have: A degree in Business, Economics, Maths, Finance, Marketing or a similar subject.
Around two years experience in an analytical or commercial role.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
The ability to interpret data and communicate clear findings.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
A genuine interest in retail and customer behaviour.
Previous trade-planning experience is not essential.
We are more interested in your analytical ability, commercial mindset and willingness to learn.
