This is a proper delivery role, not an admin PMO position. We’re looking for a Junior Project Manager who already understands how change actually moves through a business — governance, stakeholders, decisions, and delivery discipline — and wants to step up fast.
You’ll sit within Group Change, supporting senior PMs and Delivery Leads across a live portfolio of initiatives. You’ll be close to decision-makers, exposed to board-level governance, and trusted with real responsibility early.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Supporting end-to-end delivery of change initiatives (not just taking notes)
- Owning project hygiene: plans, RAID, actions, decisions, dependencies
- Coordinating across squads, tech, product, ops, finance and risk
- Preparing papers, updates and MI for portfolio and senior forums
- Tracking progress, flagging issues early, and keeping delivery honest
- Helping improve how projects are run, governed and reported
What we’re looking for:
- Project support / PMO / junior PM / delivery coordination
- Comfortable in a structured change or regulated environment
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Confident communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Curious, proactive, and serious about a career in project delivery
- Familiar with tools like Monday, Jira, Confluence or SharePoint
Why this role works:
- Exposure to portfolio-level governance, not just one project
- Clear pathway into a full Project Manager role
- You’ll learn how good change is actually delivered
Location: Manchester – Remote first
Salary: £45-£50,000
