We are working with a leading Software House based in South Manchester, currently looking for an Engineering Manager Contractor to join their team for 3 months during a key phase of development and delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Team Lead / Technical Lead: We’re seeking leaders who lead by example, remain hands-on with the code, and pair with the team regularly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reviewing code and coaching developers while contributing directly to technical delivery.
- Sprint Planning & Agile Delivery: You’ll support and run sprint planning sessions, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and aligned with business goals.
- Process Improvement: You’ll take the lead in identifying and implementing improvements across engineering workflows, tooling, and delivery processes.
- Stakeholder Support: You’ll act as a bridge between product teams and developers, supporting stakeholders to ensure alignment across technical and business objectives.
- Data Mapping: You’ll work on complex data mapping tasks to support integrations and platform evolution.
- Quality Assurance: You’ll ensure quality standards are maintained across the codebase through best practices, testing, and peer reviews.
