Platform Manager | Azure | £80-90k | Manchester - Hybrid
You're already making the big technical calls. How much say do you have over what happens next?
This position gives you ownership of an established Azure platform, a small expert team of Platform & DevOps engineers to lead.
You'll set the technical direction and build alongside them. Architecture, infrastructure as code, performance and cloud spend are all yours to get into.
A big part of the work is improving how the platform runs: understanding API health, catching performance issues early and using AI to investigate incidents and automate recurring fixes.
What we need:
- Strong Azure architecture and hands-on platform engineering.
- IaC, automation and secure CI/CD.
- Experience improving reliability, performance and cloud costs.
- Someone engineers can turn to for practical technical guidance.
Azure, Entra ID, Key Vault and Azure DevOps underpin the environment. Practical experience with AI-led operations would be useful.
What you get:
£80-90k, ownership of the platform's direction and the scope to put your decisions into production.
Could suit a Lead or Principal Platform Engineer ready to take responsibility for the function, or a hands-on Platform Manager
