Role Purpose
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of club facilities, ensuring all equipment, systems and environments are safe, functional and maintained to a high standard. The role supports the delivery of planned preventative maintenance programmes while responding to reactive maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across all club facilities.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are operational and well maintained.
- Respond to maintenance issues efficiently and within SLA.
- Maintain a daily log of work completed.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Complete all scheduled PPM tasks.
- Support compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Ensure accurate recording of all maintenance activities.
- Health & Safety
- Follow safe systems of work and operational procedures.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
- Understand and comply with COSHH requirements.
- Report hazards or risks immediately.
- Facilities Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms and service areas.
- Ensure back-of-house areas meet required standards.
- Support overall facility presentation.
- Member Experience Support
- Ensure maintenance work does not negatively impact member experience.
- Communicate any disruptions to the Facility Management Supervisor.
- Support smooth day-to-day operations of the club.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
- Support HVAC and plant equipment maintenance.
- Assist with pool maintenance and filtration systems.
- Support testing of emergency lighting and safety systems.

Experience & Qualifications
- Trade qualification preferred (Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC)
