Responsibilities
- Within Corporate & Investment Banking activities, Global Markets is a fully integrated multi-asset class, multi-product platform focusing on delivering high quality investment and risk management solutions to asset managers, pension funds, private banks, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and retail network distributors around the world.
- Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Derivatives Corporate Sales for Western Europe sits within Global Markets and covers the major European corporates for risk advisory using Foreign Exchange Cash and Derivatives, Structured and Hybrid Products, Interest Rate Derivatives, Emerging Local Markets and Liquidity Management. The Team focuses both on risk management understanding and advice for the corporate clients as well as execution of the transactions.
- The UK desk covers clients based in the UK, as well as the European operations of certain multi-national corporations.
Assist the Interest Rate and FX Derivatives Sales teams:
- In their sales efforts to UK corporate clients by helping to prepare market commentary, marketing materials and indicative pricing.
- In liaising with other front office business partners including Relationship Managers, Debt Capital Market teams, Structuring, Research and Trading.
- In liaising with critical support functions including Middle and Back Office, Onboarding, Compliance and Legal.
You will:
- Prepare market updates and proposals for clients.
- Compile indicative pricing of derivative structures and solutions.
- Research on markets and clients.
- Prepare credit line requests.
- Maintain business data statistics.
- Report client information, deals, business follow-ups and update Group databases.
- Assist sales with KYC/Account opening process.
- Assist sales with Payment/Confirmation issues.
- Maintain and improve spreadsheets used by the desk.
- Establish strong working relationships with various business lines.
- Assist other London based Corporate Sales desks on an ad-hoc basis as required.
