Responsibilities

  • The Trainee position is responsible for asset optimisation, upgrading book IT, and project follow‑up.
  • The Trainee will be responsible for monitoring and developing pricing and auto hedging tools, performing quantitative research and tool development to help trading desks automate their business, back‑testing using both production software and alternative tools including VBA and Python, working closely with Sales to analyse the impact of liquidity providers and clients, and developing and improving production software including indicators.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Master's degree-level or equivalent in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, VBA and Python.
  • Strong analytical skills and a mathematical mindset.
  • Ability to develop relationships based on trust and professionalism.
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously where required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
