We are looking for a proactive and confident Trainee who thrives in engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex relationships across multiple business units. You will support the team in driving regulatory engagement and transversal controls governance, playing a key role in preparing for regulatory examinations, coordinating control frameworks, and supporting remediation initiatives. You will gain exposure to senior management and develop a deep understanding of risk management, regulatory expectations, and governance processes within a major financial institution. This role is ideal for someone with some prior experience or academic background in risk, controls, compliance, or corporate office functions who is eager to build their career in this field.
What You Will Do
- Support preparation and coordination for regulatory engagements and examinations
- Assist in managing relationships with senior stakeholders across business and support units
- Help identify and respond to control weaknesses and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate transversal control topics and contribute to governance forums
- Prepare presentations, reports, and follow-up action plans
- Collaborate with compliance, audit, and operational risk teams to drive improvements
- Gain broad exposure to corporate governance, transaction governance, and CEO office initiatives
