Summary of responsibilities

  • Work on projects end‑to‑end, from scoping and research through ideation, prototyping, and handoff.
  • Collaborate closely with Business and Information Technology teams.
  • Lead the design of full projects after gaining experience on smaller initiatives.
  • Design across brand‑new products, redesigns of existing systems, feature design, and UX/UI reviews.
  • Present to product owners and users, explaining the rationale behind proposals.
  • Take initiative and work independently while being open to collaboration.
  • Deliver production‑ready prototypes using Figma, and create interactive prototypes with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Adapt to complex, data‑heavy interfaces, especially within financial contexts.
  • Show real impact from previous designs used by users.
  • Engage beyond pure interface design, exploring product management, engineering, research, analytics, and data science.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing digital products and systems, preferably web‑based applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and product design skills.
  • Ability to deliver production‑ready prototypes in Figma.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive prototypes.
  • Appreciation for complex systems and data‑heavy interfaces; finance experience is a plus but not required.
  • Self‑motivation and initiative.
  • Interest in disciplines outside of pure interface design, such as product management, engineering, or analytics.
