In this role you will support the GLBA/IDT Finance team to structure and execute debt financing and advisory solutions for infrastructure, telecoms, media and technology clients across the EMEA region. You will work with cross-functional partners to win mandates, tailor capital solutions, and manage risk throughout the financing lifecycle. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base and strategic advisory work in a globally connected platform. You will contribute to building the IDT franchise while developing deep market expertise and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Cover infrastructure, telecoms, media and technology financing and advisory needs across loan and bond markets for a diverse client base.
  • Originate, develop, and maintain a track record of mandates; identify market trends and originations opportunities; prepare pitches and coordinate client presentations; lead pitches to clients.
  • Contribute to timely execution of mandates with focus on credit analysis, due diligence, modelling, term sheets, and regulatory/documentation; support post-close activities.
  • Develop advisory and new product offerings aligned with IDT strategy; grow the IDT client base and maintain a network of market contacts.
  • Supervise and train junior staff; ensure KYC, compliance, due diligence, and regulatory requirements are met.

Key requirements

  • Understanding of credit, banking, capital markets and loan/bond instruments.
  • Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis of cash flows, capital structures and risks.
  • Good understanding of risk management.
