Overview
In this role, you contribute to originate and structure financing solutions for large-scale energy, mining and industrial projects. You work within EMI, collaborating with IBD and coverage teams to deliver tailored advisory and financing options. You will build and review financial models, assess risks, and support client relationships and deal execution in a cross-border, multi-disciplinary environment. This position offers exposure to ESG-focused financing and energy transition initiatives within a global bank.
Responsibilities
- Build and validate financial models from first principles and assess debt capacity
- Create marketing materials and support deal origination with financing structures and materials
- Prepare credit analyses and submissions, manage end-to-end process from pitch to closing
- Conduct sector/market analyses and risk monitoring to support client relationships
- Support internal cooperation and synergies across the global bank to maximize NBI
- Contribute to development and management of client relationships and business development
Key requirements
- Previous experience in finance (preferably structured finance) and/or energy in a multicultural environment
- Analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Cash flow modelling
- Ability to learn and understand loan markets and related instruments for financing solutions
- Ability to produce clear, structured pitch material addressing client needs
- Strong interest in energy, mining, industry dynamics and project finance
