We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Legal Graduate to join our Global Markets Legal team in London. As a Trainee, you’ll play a key role in supporting lawyers who advise on a wide range of financial products and transactions. What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of legal documents, including contracts and transaction documentation
- Supporting lawyers who advise internal teams such as sales, trading and structuring
- Conducting legal and regulatory research on financial markets topics
- Responding to day‑to‑day legal queries from business stakeholders
- Helping to maintain and improve standard legal templates and documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues across different teams and jurisdictions
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in Law, or a non‑law degree with postgraduate legal studies (e.g. SQE, LPC, LLM)
- Interested in developing a career in financial services or banking law
- Strong analytical thinkers with excellent research skills
- Clear communicators, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, with great attention to detail
- Collaborative and confident working with a variety of stakeholders
- Previous legal or paralegal experience is beneficial
