About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day activities of the Operational Risk Management team
- Help monitor and review the effectiveness of controls used across the business
- Assist with risk assessments and the tracking of agreed actions and improvements
- Analyse data to identify trends and support the production of clear risk reporting and dashboards
- Contribute to the preparation of materials for management and governance meetings
- Support projects to improve and document risk processes and procedures
- Work with colleagues across different teams as a point of contact for operational and conduct risk queries
You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, governance forums and a wide range of non‑financial risk topics in a supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for motivated individuals who are keen to learn and develop, with:
Essential:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a finance‑related, analytical or business discipline
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with data and producing clear, structured outputs
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Some experience in financial services, professional services or a regulated environment
- Exposure to risk, compliance, controls or governance activities
- Basic project management experience
- An interest in operational risk, conduct risk or regulatory topics
- Coding or data analysis skills (e.g. VBA, Python)
