As a Trainee in our Financial Institutions Group M&A team, you will build on your front office experience by working hands-on across mergers and acquisitions involving diverse financial subsectors and geographies. You will engage in all stages of deal origination and execution, including industry and company research, advanced quantitative analysis, valuation, financial modelling, and client presentation preparation. This role provides a unique opportunity to broaden your global financial services perspective within a high-performing, supportive team.
What We Are Looking For
- University graduate with practical work experience in front-office M&A
- Strong interest in and understanding of banks and other financial subsectors
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Effective communication skills; articulate, professional, and polished presentation style
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to teamwork
- Language skills in DACH and CEE regions are a strong advantage
