Summary Of The Key Purposes Of The Role

The Trainee position is responsible for asset optimisation, upgrading book IT, and project follow‑up.

Summary Of Responsibilities

  • The Trainee will be responsible for monitoring and developing pricing and auto‑hedging tools.
  • Performing quantitative research and tool development to help trading desks automate their business.
  • Back‑testing using both production software and alternative tools including VBA and Python.
  • Working closely with Sales to analyse the impact of liquidity providers and clients.
  • Developing and improving production software including indicators.

Required Profile

  • Educated to Master’s degree‑level or equivalent in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, VBA and Python.
  • Strong analytical skills and a mathematical mindset.
  • Ability to develop relationships based on trust and professionalism.
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously where required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
