We're seeking a motivated and analytical Trainee to join our Fund Finance team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to complex financing transactions, financial markets and institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will be part of a dynamic team that structures and delivers financing solutions for investment funds, pension funds, asset managers and insurance companies.

From business development and transaction execution to ongoing portfolio monitoring, you'll gain valuable insight into how sophisticated financing solutions are developed and managed.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Conducting market and industry research to support business development opportunities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of client presentations, marketing materials and proposal responses.
  • Supporting the structuring and execution of financing transactions.
  • Analysing portfolio and transaction performance data.
  • Assisting with the preparation of internal approval and credit documentation.
  • Supporting transaction monitoring and periodic reviews.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Legal, Risk and Operations functions.
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes, reporting and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong academic performance in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
  • An interest in financial markets and investment banking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Experience using financial information platforms such as Bloomberg highly advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • French language skills advantageous but not essential.
