The Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division gives access to a large scope of exposure and opportunities across the Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange, Inflation and Multi-asset universes. Supported by extensive research, engineering, trading and e-commerce capabilities, we offer strategic insights, flow information, competitive pricing, and seamless execution to our clients across dates, credit, FX, and emerging markets.
Summary of the key purposes of the role:
- Assisting xVA traders with daily tasks
- Contributing to projects led by the team manager
- Assisting with xVA management
- Working with research and development teams to improve xVA pricers
Summary of responsibilities:
- Assisting xVA traders with pricing on derivatives for all asset classes traded within Capital Markets
- Explaining pricing assumptions and calculation to Capital Markets sales and trading teams
- Monitoring, in collaboration with support teams, the xVA fee workflows
- Helping xVA traders with optimizing existing derivatives portfolios to reduce CVA, CVaR, capital and funding costs
- Helping to implement and monitor the process for internal and external optimisation tools
- Contributing to the development of pricing and risk management systems for xVA
Profile required:
- The ideal candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in a Finance / Mathematics related discipline
- Derivatives pricing experience highly advantageous
- Good understanding of counterparty exposure calculation
- Good basic knowledge of regulatory constraints
- Good basic knowledge of scarce resources constraints impacting Global Markets
- Excellent level of written and spoken English essential
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload
- Ability to organise own time and work to strict deadlines in a busy Front Office environment
