Responsibilities

  • The FX pricing and hedging development team supports electronic trading activities of the FX desk, focusing on Spot FX, non-deliverable forwards (NDF), and Precious Metals in London and Paris.
  • The candidate will work closely with traders and quants to develop and oversee FX electronic market making, pricing, and hedging systems.
  • The role involves working on all aspects of the algorithmic trading ecosystem, including low-latency pricing, auto-hedgers, pre-trading controls, monitoring tools, and post-trade analytics.
  • Manage the global FAR/RAD FX team.
  • Design software solutions to meet business needs, balancing rapid development with code quality and performance.
  • Proactively improve platform features benefiting the business and IT.
  • Implement, test, and deploy software solutions within project constraints.
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems and tools.
  • Follow DevOps practices and provide Level 2 support for incident management.
  • Develop tools for production monitoring to detect and address issues.
  • Manage the global FAR FX development team, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Collaborate with Trading, Business Managers, Technology, and Support Teams to align on technology strategies.

Required profile

  • Technical skills
  • At least 5 years of FX Pricing Development experience (RAD).
  • Over 3 years of management or leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design.
  • Expertise in C#/.Net; knowledge of C++/Java is a plus.
  • Experience with memory/CPU profiling and multithreaded debugging.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization in managed languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with electronic exchange APIs, FIX/SBE protocols is beneficial.
  • Functional knowledge
    • Knowledge in FX cash and/or NDF products.
    • Experience developing manual and automatic trading systems.
    • Understanding of back-testing principles.
    • Familiarity with electronic exchange connectivity.
  • Languages
    • Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
    • French language skills are a plus.
