The Paid Media Manager will drive the strategy, execution, and performance of paid social campaigns across various platforms, managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals, optimization for performance, and measurable ROI. Key Responsibilities
- Paid Social Campaign Strategy
- Develop, implement, and manage paid media strategies across channels including paid social, paid search, display, and video advertising.
- Create and oversee end-to-end campaign workflows from planning and setup to execution and analysis.
- Ensure campaigns align with client business objectives and target audiences.
- Campaign Execution
- Manage day-to-day paid media operations, including ad account setup, targeting, bidding, and budgeting.
- Oversee creative and copy development, ensuring assets are optimised for paid media platforms.
- Regularly A/B test creative, audiences, and messaging to optimise performance.
- Training & Upskilling
- Train and mentor junior team members in paid media strategies and platform use.
- Share industry knowledge and insights with the broader team to continually upskill the agency.
- Performance Tracking & Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance data in real time, making adjustments to meet or exceed KPIs (CPL, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
- Utilise data insights to inform ongoing optimisations and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports on campaign performance with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Budget Management
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring spend is optimised and aligned with client goals.
- Provide accurate forecasts, monitor pacing, and adjust bids/budget to optimise for ROI and campaign objectives.
- Platform Expertise
- Stay up-to-date with changes and updates across paid media platforms (e.g., algorithm changes, new ad formats, targeting capabilities).
- Implement best practices and innovations in paid media to keep the agency and clients ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration & Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with creative, strategy, and performance teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns, integrating paid media strategies with wider marketing initiatives such as email marketing and organic social.
- Audience Targeting & Segmentation
- Develop sophisticated audience segmentation strategies to ensure ads reach the most relevant users.
- Use platform targeting tools effectively, leveraging custom audiences, lookalikes, and advanced targeting techniques.
- Creative Testing & Development
- Lead creative testing initiatives, advising on best-performing formats and creative strategies for different platforms.
- Analyse creative performance and collaborate with designers to optimise visuals and messaging.

- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilise analytics tools such as Google Analytics, in-platform metrics, and other reporting software to draw meaningful insights from campaign data.
