Our agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Accounts team and work to deliver exceptional campaigns with our current and forthcoming clients.

About the role

Account Management sits at the heart of the agency, and as an Account Director, you'll work collaboratively across every department while partnering with a range of client-side stakeholders.

You'll independently lead some of our largest and most strategic client accounts, becoming a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.

We're looking for a driven and commercially minded individual with a genuine passion for influencer and social media marketing who is ready to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors such as beauty, technology and FMCG, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of integrated influencer marketing campaigns.

Alongside managing client relationships and campaign delivery, you'll play an important role in developing and mentoring junior team members, helping them build their skills and grow into well-rounded marketing professionals while contributing to the continued success of the wider team.

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working either in-house at a brand or within an agency client servicing role, managing high-profile clients and complex campaigns.
  • A genuine passion for influencer marketing, social media and the evolving digital landscape.
  • Proven experience identifying growth opportunities, upselling ideas to clients, and confidently presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple campaigns and projects to a high standard in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Calm and solutions-focused under pressure, with the ability to navigate challenges and resolve problems in a logical and efficient way.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to tailor your approach and build trusted relationships with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with integrated agency teams and participating in wider agency meetings to deliver effective, joined-up campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with demonstrable experience prioritising and managing an evolving workload while meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience leading sizeable client accounts, coordinating teams across Account Management, Planning and Strategy to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Previous line management experience, with a track record of coaching, developing and supporting junior team members to grow their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to client briefs, coordinating members of the accounts team to develop bold and effective creatives that are informed by competitive and consumer trends to help achieve clients’ campaign objectives.
  • Writing clear and impactful proposals and crafting persuasive pitches to bring to life our strategy, creatives, and recommendations.
  • Building a rapport with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business and objectives, translating this into a client briefing form and ensuring that all requirements are reflected in influencer selection and throughout the content creation process.
  • Oversight of multiple campaigns simultaneously, liaising with your campaign teams constantly to stay up to date on the progress of each campaign and flagging any concerns or potential issues to the team as soon as possible, alongside suggested solutions.
  • Sharing clear and thorough updates and reporting with clients regularly over email, phone calls and face-to-face meetings, while providing recommendations and expertise at every stage of the campaign.
  • Presenting clearly and confidently to key stakeholders in pitches, kick-off meetings and post-campaign analysis meetings.
  • Involvement in new business representing account management as part of the pitch team.
  • Continual forward-thinking and proactive ideation of additional activity that Socially
  • Powerful could propose to clients, based on a detailed knowledge of their business, objectives and upcoming focuses.
  • Building strong relationships with your clients and harnessing your entrepreneurial spirit to proactively unlock routes to grow the accounts you lead.
  • Acting as a mentor and manager for junior team members, facilitating their learning and development, aiding their professional growth into well rounded marketeers.
