Social Work Partners is proud to be recruiting Medway Council for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care team. In this role, you’ll lead and support a team of social care staff, providing professional oversight, guidance, and supervision while managing a complex caseload. You’ll champion a strengths-based, person-centred approach and play a vital role in improving service quality through audit activity, safeguarding reviews, and complaints analysis. You’ll drive improvement through mentoring, peer learning, and best practice sharing, while also contributing to training and development. You’ll work within legislative frameworks such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act, and represent the council at key meetings and panels.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified social worker (Social Work England registered)
- Strong post-qualification experience in adult social care
- Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
- Confident working autonomously and managing complex situations
