Senior Occupational Therapist for the Occupational Therapy Team to cover the winter period until March 31st 2025.

Flexible Working:

  • Occupational Therapist will be expected to complete community visits to clients.

  • The current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Expenses:

  • Locums can claim back mileage from their place of work to visits (this does not include travel from home to work).

The role will involve:

  • Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.

  • Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.

  • Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.

  • Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.

  • Assessing for and providing major adaptations.

Current registration with HCPC is essential.

Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
