Job Profile 1. Undertake social work assessments that are purposeful, timely and of high quality 2. Completion of any relevant reports to required quality standard and within timescale 3. Attendance at, and relevant preparation for, any meetings/reviews in regard to case planning for children 4. Ensure all work undertaken is in line with, and as required by, the relevant legislation, guidance or procedures 5. Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping (including electronic databases/client records) 6. Maintain and promote partnership working with other agencies 7. Facilitate the participation of parents, children & young people 8. To uphold and comply with the statutory provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and any other associated legislation or Council Polices and procedures. 9. To understand and comply with the Council’s Equal Opportunities Policy. 10. The above-mentioned duties are neither exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as required by the service
