Barnsley Children’s disability service are seeking a short break support worker. The main duties of this role will be undertaking short break assessments for children & their families, developing & reviewing short break packages, providing children’s social care advice for EHC need assessments, attendance at the short break panel and the completion of decision support tools for continuing health care applications. Those who have experience of family support work within children’s services or SEND are an ideal candidate and training and shadowing opportunities will be provided to ensure the preferred candidate has the support in place they need to fulfil the role. Barnsley support their staff to work flexibly, but the core hours for this role are 9 – 5 Monday to Friday (4.30 finish on a Friday). For more information please contact Mia
