We are looking for an experienced Social Work Practitioner or Team Manager to join a forward-thinking safeguarding service dedicated to protecting vulnerable children and young people. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior, impactful role focused on high-quality practice, robust decision making, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding children, including those at significant risk of harm, by:
- Assessing and managing risk effectively
- Undertaking critical decision making
- Taking professional responsibility for all safeguarding decisions
- Providing oversight, challenge, and professional scrutiny to social workers, managers, and partner agencies
You will play a key part in raising the standard of child protection practice across the service. This includes offering quality assurance, guidance, and support to teams across Bradford Children & Families Trust and external partners, ensuring consistent and effective safeguarding practice.
