Hours: 37 per week

Duration: 3 Months Minimum

Social Personnel are recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner for a CIC team in East Riding.

Duties Include:

  • Complete assessments to determine needs and recommend plans and actions required.
  • Be a lead professional in allocated complex child care cases, including assessment, intervention, and planning to co-ordinate and commission a range of services for looked after children.
  • Work within child care policies and procedures and meet statutory requirements.
  • Co-work complex child care cases with other social workers in the team.
  • Use electronic systems to keep up to date case records and provide reports for a range of purposes, including review meetings, panels and court.
  • Develop integrated practice with other agencies to assess, plan, co-ordinate and monitor a range of services to meet the needs of looked after children.
  • Mentor, coach and support newly qualified social workers in conjunction with supervision provided by the team manager and to include guidance on practice and opportunities for co-work and observation.
  • Support and supervise social work students.
  • Offer professional guidance and support to social work practitioners in the team and in settings such as reviews, panels and court as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development of practice and to the skills and knowledge of practitioners in the team and the wider service through coaching and training, through contribution to Team meetings and leading on the dissemination and understanding of policies, procedures and research.
  • Support the Team Manager in developing and embedding quality assurance processes and mechanisms to address and improve performance.

  • Qualification in Social Work
  • Experience in a CIC Team
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving Licence
