Rate: 37 (Umbrella)

Hours: 37 per week

Duration: 3 Months

Minimum Social Personnel are recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner for a CIC team in East Riding.

Duties Include:

  • Complete assessments to determine needs and recommend plans and actions required.
  • Be a lead professional in allocated complex child care cases, including assessment, intervention, and planning to co-ordinate and commission a range of services for looked after children.
  • Work within child care policies and procedures and meet statutory requirements.
  • Co-work complex child care cases with other social workers in the team.
  • Use electronic systems to keep up to date case records and provide reports for a range of purposes, including review meetings, panels and court.
  • Develop integrated practice, with other agencies to assess, plan, co-ordinate and monitor a range of services to meet the needs of looked after children.
  • Mentor, coach and support newly qualified social workers in conjunction with supervision provided by the team manager and to include guidance on practice and opportunities for co-work and observation.
  • Support and supervise social work students.
  • Offer professional guidance and support to social work practitioners in the team and in settings such as reviews, panels and court as appropriate.
