Make your speculative application with us! We’re excited to be looking for volunteers to support our services in a range of meaningful ways. While the role descriptions give a good overview, they’re not set in stone and we’re really open to the unique skills, experience, and ideas you can bring. These roles are all about creating more opportunities for the residents and participants we support. Whether that’s through increased social connection and community access or valuable additional one-to-one time, you’ll be helping people take steps towards their personal goals.
By getting involved, you’ll play a key part in boosting confidence, reducing social isolation, and helping people build meaningful connections in their community - making a real and lasting difference to their journey of recovery.
What is the Commitment?
We’re looking for volunteers who can commit to joining us regularly for at least six months. The main value of volunteering with us comes from building genuine social connections, and these relationships naturally take a little time to develop. That said, we’re flexible and will do our best to help you fit volunteering around your other commitments. Volunteering takes place during daytime working hours (which may vary slightly depending on the service), but again, we’re happy to work with your availability wherever possible.
About You
We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly, reliable, non-judgemental and empathetic, and who share our trauma-informed approach to support. You’ll find more detail on specific qualities within each role description, but beyond that, we’re really open to what you can bring - your personality, skills and life experience all matter here.

- Reimburse you for agreed expenses relating to your volunteering.
- Welcome you warmly into our team and support you to get the most from your experience.
- Recognise and celebrate your contribution to the team!

- Provide regular supervision and opportunities to give feedback on your experience.
- You will be eligible to register with Blue Light Discount Card.
