You’ll join a small, entrepreneurial team and play a key role across the full investment lifecycle—sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio support.
What you’ll do:- Source & screen deals: Proactively scout startups, attend ecosystem events, and maintain a high-quality pipeline aligned to our theses.
- Research & thesis building: Run market maps, sector deep dives, and competitive analysis to inform where we invest next.
- Financial & commercial analysis: Build and review financial models, unit economics, and business model robustness; assess traction, metrics, and risks.
- Due diligence: Support end-to-end diligence (product, team, market, technical, legal/financing documents) and coordinate expert/customer references.
- Investment materials: Draft crisp Investment Notes and IC presentations with clear recommendations and scenarios.
- Portfolio support: Track KPIs & finances, validate plans, assist with follow-on preparedness, and connect founders into our network.
- Fund brand & administration: Help manage our content and social presence; and support in fund administration activities.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in venture capital, a high-growth startup/scale-up, or M&A/transaction services (analyst level).
- Academic background: Strong undergraduate degree; a Master’s is a plus.
- Toolbox: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; proficient with AI tools, research databases, CRMs.
- Analytical strength: Rigorous quantitative and qualitative research skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Clear, concise writing and confident stakeholder communication (founders, investors, advisors).
- Interests: Genuine enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and measurable social impact.
- Mindset: Curious, entrepreneurial, team player who can prioritise and execute across multiple workstreams.
