Help people grow in confidence, independence and life skills through horticulture and outdoor learning. We’re looking for a passionate, caring and experienced horticulturalist to support adults and young people with learning disabilities and additional needs in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver practical horticulture sessions with small groups
  • Grow fruit and vegetables in raised beds
  • Support learners to develop life skills, confidence and communication
  • Create engaging outdoor learning activities
  • Provide a supportive, therapeutic environment
  • Work with colleagues, families and partner organisations

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Passionate about horticulture and outdoor learning
  • Patient, caring and supportive
  • Experienced working with SEND learners or in care/education
  • Organised, flexible and a great communicator
  • Interested in sustainable growing or permaculture

The Role

  • 3 days per week (60%) – Part-Time
  • Potential to become full-time
  • Work outdoors in a supportive charity environment
