Help people grow in confidence, independence and life skills through horticulture and outdoor learning. We’re looking for a passionate, caring and experienced horticulturalist to support adults and young people with learning disabilities and additional needs in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver practical horticulture sessions with small groups
- Grow fruit and vegetables in raised beds
- Support learners to develop life skills, confidence and communication
- Create engaging outdoor learning activities
- Provide a supportive, therapeutic environment
- Work with colleagues, families and partner organisations
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
- Passionate about horticulture and outdoor learning
- Patient, caring and supportive
- Experienced working with SEND learners or in care/education
- Organised, flexible and a great communicator
- Interested in sustainable growing or permaculture
The Role
- 3 days per week (60%) – Part-Time
