The predicted salary is between 14 - 16 £ per hour.

Wick Grange Farm, Owletts Lane, Wick, Pershore, WR10 3PB.

Part-time, 27 hours per week: 3 days x 8 hours client support (24hrs) plus livestock responsibilities over the weekend (this will not require your presence at the farm every weekend).

Rate of pay/Salary £14 per hour. Annual salary £19,656 (FTE: £29,120) i.e. £112 per day plus £42 per week for weekend/holiday duties.

An exciting opportunity to work with animals in a therapeutic setting, part of a dynamic team of staff and volunteers empowering adults and children to improve mental and physical wellbeing through outdoor activity in a farm setting.

Specific Requirements For The Role
  • Ability to take responsibility for animal husbandry: the health and welfare of the animals, in particular sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese; leading on livestock feeding routines, hygiene and medication; ordering and keeping feedstocks up to date; animal record keeping.
  • Knowledge and experience of or demonstrable interest in working with diverse groups, including individuals with mental health challenges, dementia, autism.
  • Confidence, fitness and enthusiasm for working outdoors with animals.
  • A cheerful, creative, patient and enthusiastic approach is essential.

Due to the nature of the work, the post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
