Your goal: For our office in London, we are looking for an M&A Senior Associate. Are you ready for the next step as an M&A dealmaker in the lower-mid-market? You already have a few years’ experience as an M&A professional and the ambition to become an independent dealmaker within the next three to five years. This entrepreneurial drive is part of Marktlink’s DNA. At Marktlink, you will be doing business independently from day one. You will be responsible for a significant part of the transaction process from start to finish. You have sufficient financial skills, but also a commercial mindset and a genuine interest in entrepreneurs – the clients of Marktlink.
Your responsibilities:
- Perform company and market analysis
- Prepare valuations and bid books
- Meet potential buyers and sellers
- Approach new buyers and sellers
- Expand and maintain the Marktlink network
- Prepare financing applications and solve financing issues
- Provide broad support to the team during the projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ work experience as M&A analyst, associate or consultant
- Social and entrepreneurial person with practical, strategic, tactical and commercial insight
- Analytically strong, punctual and target-driven
- Demonstrable affinity with SME and entrepreneur-led companies is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and eye for personal relationships
