Your goal
We are excited to announce the opening of our London office and are looking for a skilled M&A Associate to support our growth in this key market. With several years of M&A experience, you should be well-positioned to play a critical role in building our London operations. As Marktlink’s third office in England, this role offers you the chance to lead business development efforts, secure new deals, and contribute to our overall success.
Your responsibilities
- Identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and growing Marktlink’s presence in the UK market.
- Leading the transaction process by performing company and market analysis, preparing valuations and bid books, and managing negotiations.
- Meeting with potential buyers and sellers, understanding their needs, and providing effective solutions.
- Managing financing applications and addressing complex financial challenges to support successful transactions.
- Working closely with senior managers and partners to ensure smooth execution of deals from start to finish.
Your profile
We are looking for a proactive M&A professional with a strong track record. The ideal candidate will have:
- An ACCA qualification or a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or a higher professional education with a finance-focused Master’s.
- 2-4 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or advisory in the UK – preferably in the London market.
- A proven ability to develop new business, drive deals, and manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and a strategic, commercial mindset, with a passion for working with SMEs and entrepreneurs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets.
