About Us:
At Social Chameleon, we create culture-driven, emotionally resonant campaigns for our global client base. We are currently undergoing a rebrand as we refocus our skills and expertise on clients across travel and lifestyle. As a fast-growing social media and content agency with a global team and a passion for storytelling, we're looking for a confident and commercially minded Senior Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base and shape the next phase of our journey.
The Role:
It's an exciting time over at Social Chameleon. As we undergo a rebrand, we're moving away from some of the industries and services we've previously catered for and are honing in on the projects and retainers that really excite us. As part of this we're looking to significantly grow our BD & Sales team to focus on relationship building and outbound lead generation across relevant industries (predominantly within the travel, hospitality, beauty, and premium lifestyle sectors). This role will be the starting point of our shift towards a more focussed approach to client acquisition. The ideal candidate will help shape our approach to new business strategy & execution, and in due course, will be responsible for growing and leading our commercial team. This is a hands-on, target-driven role, ideal for someone with a strong agency background and a proven track record of winning high-value work. Please note, whilst we are an established agency, this pivot will make this role feel more like a start-up environment, so we're looking for someone ambitious, self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the agency’s new business strategy, reporting directly to the MD.
- Identify and proactively reach out to potential clients that align with our specialism and ethos.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads, nurturing them from first contact through to pitch and conversion.
- Lead on proposal writing, pitch preparation, and delivery alongside senior leadership and strategy teams.
- Develop tailored outreach campaigns in collaboration with our marketing team to increase brand visibility and generate inbound interest.
- Represent the agency at relevant industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows.
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity, identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report regularly on pipeline progress and revenue forecasts.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 4–5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in a digital, creative, or social media agency setting.
- A strong network and demonstrable success working with travel, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport.
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset – you know how to turn opportunities into wins.
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that sell.
- Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Passion for social media, culture, and storytelling – you get what makes a brand culturally relevant.
What We Offer:
- £50,000 base salary plus commission/bonus based on performance
- Flexible hybrid working model (London HQ)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Travel opportunities
- Opportunities for progression within a growing agency
- A collaborative, culture-first team environment
