We are looking for an experienced Social Worker who has at least three years\’ statutory experience within Children In Need, Children In Need of Protection and Children Looked After Service. The role will involve the following duties: To carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004 and other relevant legislation. To establish and implement service and care plans for children and their families in accordance with local and national procedures. To manage a caseload which may include children and families with complex needs and require multi-agency co-ordination. To maintain electronic client records systems in accordance with departmental procedures. To maximise life chances for Children in Need and Children Looked After. To contribute to team plans and the achievement of agreed targets for Children in Need, Child Protection, Children Looked After and Care Leavers. To participate in training of staff in Child Protection and Children Looked After. Development in accordance with Personal Development Plans agreed during Performance Review.
