This South London Authority are looking for a Technical Officer. Details of the role are:

An opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic officer to join the Pollution (Noise & Nuisance) Team in the Regulatory Services Partnership on a temporary basis.

In order to be considered you must have extensive knowledge and experience of responding to statutory nuisance complaints under Environmental Protection 1990 and dealing with constructions sites under the Control of Pollution Act 1974.

You must have excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is essential.

A full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle is essential. This is a demanding role and the successful candidate will be well organised and able to work flexibly. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
