To lead and manage the Procurement service, including complex, high value procurement activities, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation, best practice and legal standards, maximising and maintaining the efficiency and integrity of the procurement process and ensuring value for money outcomes.

Provide expert guidance and implement procurement strategies that align with the Council’s corporate plan and objectives.

Management and provision of the Council’s insurance administration function, ensuring all covers are in place and appropriate to ensure the Council is indemnified against loss whilst providing value for money.
