We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Finance Officer to join the Education and Schools Finance Team.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial services across Education and Schools in the council. Working as part of a professional and supportive finance team, you will support the delivery of a range of financial processes and activities across Education and Schools, helping to ensure the effective management of education-related funding and resources.
Responsibilies:
• Provide financial support and advice to education and schools services.
• Co-ordinate financial returns, reconciliations and year-end processes.
• Support budget monitoring, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Respond to queries and liaise with schools and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective finance service.
